During our selection process, we look for the right personality for the job. We believe that it requires a particular type of person to work in the hospitality industry. To have the basic skills to wait on guests is not enough. High Society represents excellence. This is the standard we expect from our staff.



Staff Requirements

What you must be:

  • 18 years or above
  • Excellent command of English
  • A very high standard of personal appearance
  • Enthusiastic and confident
  • Resident in London, with a London postcode
  • Have lots of initiative and be proactive
  • Discreet

What you must bring to the interview:

Strawberries and Swing

High Society staff dressed in ruffled shirts and red sashes to serve celebrity guests at the Coldplay ‘Viva La Vida’ end of tour after show party at Wembley Arena. Chris Martin, Jay Z and Cheryl Cole to name just a few celebrities were served bacon and eggs and enormous platters of fruit. Staff also served Colin Firth at a charity event at The Roundhouse and worked alongside Amy Winehouse and David Grey who were performing at a high profile wedding at Wrotham Park.

High Society High Flyers

It has been a busier than expected month for High Society staff which has seen them racing up to the Silverstone Grand Prix and then flying to Paris for the Air Show. Both events were a huge success and the feedback has been fantastic. In between all the travel, staff have also worked at some star studded events in London. These include serving up a vegetarian feast at Paul McCartney’s birthday BBQ, as well as keeping the drinks flowing to guests at a charity fundraiser gala dinner at the Grosvenor Hotel to the sounds of James Morrison playing live.

High Society are Blooming Marvellous

High Society staff were this year’s main staff supplier at the Chelsea Flower show. In the Presidents Marquee our VIP staff were serving gin and tonics to the Queen and other dignitaries. Staff were able to use their restaurant experience by working at a ‘bunch’ of exclusive restaurants including the Loch Fyne Seafood and Champagne Bar. Throughout the week staff did not stop receiving compliments from guests and caterers. High Society has once again provided the 'English Roses' of the catering industry to prestigious events.
