From general waiting and VIP staff to baristas and cocktail makers, we offer a bespoke selection process to meet your unique event staffing requirements. All our staff are articulate, hard-working and highly presentable with a positive attitude to work. Our strict interview and training process means that we create and maintain high standards from the very beginning.

Whatever your staffing needs, we will be able to provide fully trained, immaculately presented staff to meet the high expectations and needs of your event.


Our in house training procedure for all staff has two stages: basic skills training during their interview followed by an in-depth training session, in which we cover all aspects of delivering great service.

Staff learn how to set up for different types of events be it formal dinner, drink reception or bar, including details such as boxing tables and napkin folding.

We cover three popular dinner service styles: buffet service, canapé service and tray service, to ensure staff are fully trained and prepared for working on an event.

The Client:  Smart Catering


The Brief:  Highly attentive service and no staff suffering from sea-sickness!

Challenges: staff early departure and could not miss the boat! As always the staff were all early!


Event: The Golden Jubilee

Staff serving guests on an Elizabethan paddle-steamer, to join the 1,000 strong Royal Jubilee flotilla on the River Thames ... The 235-seater vessel also has an upper-deck walkway which offers the largest outside area of any Thames riverboat and will provide its occupants with an unrivaled view of events on the day

The Client: ITV Television Production Team


The Client Brief: To source staff that are confident and relaxed to appear on live television while working in the restaurant serving many celebrities. 


Challenges: Short lead time into the two-week event.  Staff trained in restaurant/food/menu/wine, the order of service training and of course a quick brief into filming protocol!


Event: Hell’s Kitchen filmed live on ITV each night for 2 weeks.


ITV had lots of meetings with High Society leading up to sourcing 20 available staff to work the consecutive 14 days. 


Subsequent de-brief weeks later. Client very happy with the professionalism of all hard-working High Society staff, hence everyone invited to the wrap party and given photo opportunities.

The Client: Three different companies using over 200 High Society staff

The Brief: Highly skilled staff to book up two months in advance of the games for security vetting


Challenges: Accreditations names in for LOCOG 6 weeks before the event.  Two training sessions leading up to games, and numerous online training.  Specific training required, for service of different wine for each course.

Event: Olympics 2012


Staff covered all Olympic areas including, Main Stadium, Hyde Park Serpentine, and the Paralympics

Managing Director

While studying Event Management and Hospitality at Oxford Brookes, i began enjoying working on events with many local caterers.


High Society was setup in 1998, and in that year I employed many gap year students, one being Benedict Cumberbatch, the now famous actor. 


Daniel Millman

Client Manager

I have a BSc in Television Technology and Production, and ran a busy gastra-pub after graduating for four years.


Joining High Society in 2017 to work on events, i swiftly joined the office team, and was quickly given the client manager's role when the opportunity arose

I trained professionally in Musical Theatre and am a DDI qualified dance teacher. 


I started working with High Society after I finished studying in 2017, and joined the office team earlier this year. My favorite events are weddings!

I moved to London in 2016 and shortly after joined High Society as a Team Player.
